I replaced similar unitnwith this one for simple reason - ability to use a dedicated usb cable that goes to my laptop. That way I could install it behind my desk to keep all the cables out of the view. It was also important for me to have usb ports on opposite side to video outputs for better cable routing. So far so good, works as intended, it's flat so it was easy to stick it to back of the desk with double sided tape. It supports all I need - 3440x1440 resolution, and sufficient power to charge my laptop. For that price there's nothing to be dissatisfied about, especially if you don't need ethernet, VGA and other redundant ports.
