Cracking bit of kit, it does everything we need for camping. And is suitable for if the power goes out at home.
I've been looking for a smart and portable battery that I can charge with my old solar panels. Price was a big issue. Amazon's Black Friday sale had what I wanted. This Anker Solis C1000 allows me to charge using two 250-watt solar panels (connected in parallel). The picture shows a test. I'm charging the C1000 with the solar panels, getting about 380 watts input. At the same time, I've plugged my 120-volt plug into my electric car. Obviously, this setup isn't going to get much electricity into the car because the C1000's battery capacity is so much smaller that what the car battery can take. But I was able to put nearly 2-kw in the car with the C1000 while the C1000 continued to charge from the panels. The car was getting about 1300 watts continuously from the C1000. Note that I did have to buy a couple of cables to set this up.The C1000 also ran my leaf blower (900-watts), my electric kettle and my TV without any problems.I purchased a "renewed" C1000 from Amazon, which was about 10% cheaper than the new-in-box version. The product I received was as-new, with all accessories. I'm happy with this purchase.
Great piece of kit which has only bolstered the length of time we can stay off grid in our motorhome
Game changer when it comes to cooking and charging electrical items
Exceeded my expectations!! Very happy with my purchase. It's powering my 27ft 5th wheel right now!! Love this little powerhouse!!
I got it charged up and tested it out and it worked great. I've got this for an emergency situation if the power would go out. I'm happy to say that after a month or so of being fully charged that it's still reading 100% capacity, so that's good to know that it's holding its power. I'll probably have to check it once a month just to make sure that it's topped off and ready to go if needed! :)
