At the time of writing this review it's July 2024 and the great British summer is dire. I've been living off grid for eight years and have been relying on a small petrol generator to charge my 300Ah battery and supply 240V for producing hot water, charging the laptop etc. I bought the Solix F2000 plus expansion battery with 1000W of solar panels after a lot of investigation into solar generators and so far I am very impressed. I think I need to find more electrical appliances to run. The test will be the British winter. So far though, best investment I've made. As the system should pay for itself in about 2 years, given the cost of petrol is currently £1.50 a litre and the petrol generator uses 1 to 1.5 litres an hour to run. Another plus is that it's portable, which means I can take it with me when I go away to charge my FPV quad batteries, so flying constraints are negated. I'm personally very impressed.
I love the overall look and feature of the Anker SOLIX F2000. I tested several loads for the past week since i received it and I am very satisfied with the performance. I tried the regular electrical outlet for charging and it is really fast. I tried using my solar panel set up with the same outcome.
Five star review based on customer support. Haven't had a chance to fully test, but customer support helped get the correct solar panel shipped and reimbursed money when the cost dropped by a couple hundred dollars within a week of purchasing. Packaging was great, charged great the first time, will update
This product has been great. Perfect for a day or two power outage - easy recharge with solar too.
Haven't used it for power yet, but it does seem well built. The iPhone app is very nice.
Delivery came on unexpected date and required signature; it's lucky I was home. There's room for improvement there.
