So you have a desktop with the usual USB and DP/HDMI ports.You have a laptop (Macbook, Windows, whatever) that can do charging/video output/peripheral input via one USB-C connection.And you want to have a desk space where you can use the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse for these computers with minimal faff and minimal wires.Seems simple, right? Except this is literally the only product I've found that handles this all seamlessly!My wife and I share a desk, and this is perfect for allowing me to keep my desktop tower at that desk, while also making it simple for either of us to plop down and use our work or personal laptops with a second screen and good peripherals. One button press, and you're good to go. I can't recommend this enough for people in a similar situation (which I'm guessing is an increasing population in the post-COVID work from home age?)This isn't a perfect product - as others have said, it's quite plastic-y, the wired remote is a bit annoying, and it's certainly pricey. I would love to see competition for this device from some of the other big players in the dongle/hub market (UGreen?) However, if you're someone with a similar setup who doesn't mind paying a bit extra to save desk space and have the minimal wires possible, this is a great product. Very happy with the purchase so far.

This is currently a unique product in the UK market, and (almost) perfect for me with a new work laptop and dual monitor desktop PC. I have an older PC graphics card, so am using one hdmi input and the Display Port input driven from an active DVI-D to DP adapter.
In terms of weaknesses the switch button is on a fixed cable which others have noted could be a point of failure. Switching takes a couple of seconds, but it's not unreasonable or too disruptive. I tried using a passive DP to DVI-D adapter with an older monitor, but that didn't work, so I don't think the switch supports DP++ output. I very rarely get a shiver across the screen, perhaps there is a bit of interference. I don't know why the supplied cables are specified as input only; I am using the DP one for my output at 1080p without issue.

Very good product, well made, good connections and works well with Mac.
