I'm had great results from Anker in the past, particular the cables and charging, so I was confident when choosing this and I feel vindicated after using it. Solid and reliable, the old adage of 'it just works'. It's *not* a battery mag charging puck even though it looks like one, but it *does* do pass-through charging, so even though it takes up the C port on my phone, I can plug a charge into the side of the card reader without detaching it and the charge goes through the cable. I've not got anything close to the 10gbps theoretical bandwidth, but it's certainly been a lot faster than I have experience before. I really do miss integrated microsd slots in my phone so this has been a welcome bit of expansion.
Anker never disappoint. There isn't much to an SD card reader, but Anker deliver a product that ticks every box I can think of in high quality. It can be used with any USB-C device - although it's primarily designed for use with a phone that supports USB 3.1 data transfer rates which only includes the iPhone 15 Pro models among Apple stock, but many Android phones including Samsung, Huawei and Google phones do.It can also be used with a Pc or laptop with a USB-C port. The device is compact and magnetic and sits quite nicely on the back of the phone so you can leave it working in your pocket while you are on the move for example - provides an excellent way to quickly back up a large number of photos when you're on the go.At the price, this targets a niche market - you can certainly buy cheaper SD card readers - you're paying for the speed and functional design as well as the Anker quality.I can't fault it.

Anker MagGo USB-C Adapter, Portable Magnetic SD & TF Card Reader with Built-In Cable (Black) - ReviewThis USB-C to SD & TF card reader is of great quality. Anker has time and time again delivered high-quality products. This one is no exception. The adapter has a smooth matte finish in black. The built-in cable is flat and flexible so doesn't get in the way too much. The card reader is easy to use and inserts an SD card. The card reader works as expected and the transfer speeds are reasonable. Please note to take advantage of the higher data transfer speeds you'll need a high-quality SD card as well as an iPhone 15 Pro and above as the base iPhone only supports USB 2.0 data transfer speeds. A nice feature is the USB C PD port on the side. This allows you to charge your iPhone still when using the adapter. This is thoughtful and convenient.Overall, for £29.99, at the time of review, this is pricey and more than other similar offerings. This adapter does have some neat features like the USB C PD. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a premium SD card adapter with fast data transfer speeds. Due to the price, I have given it 4/5 stars.
